Ministering at Retirement Home

Our son, Ethan, is part of a kid’s ministry team that goes out to different retirement centers and missions in our area to share the love of Jesus. They dance, sing, speak, do skits and puppets, and love on the residents and visitors. It is a great opportunity for our kids to give back to the community, overcome their fear of performing and speaking in front of people and most of all it is an opportunity to change people’s lives with God’s Word.

‘You shall rise up before the grayheaded and honor the aged, and you shall revere your God; I am the LORD. Lev. 19:32

Today we went to a lovely home where Ethan, for the first time, played the piano while some of the girls danced to his song. A new world has been opened to him and he loved it! I find it so exciting because I love to share in new experiences with him and see his eyes light up. I am incredibly thankful I get to be such a big part of his life!

I love this freedom to homeschool!
